Compare & Backup is an easy to use and powerful tool for directory synchronization. It allows you to compare source with destination before backup. Compare results are shown in 5 sections:
1) Newer than destination
2) Older than destination
3) Can not find destination
4) Can not find source
5) Only size changed

So you will exactly know what the difference is between source and destination. And you will know which files need to be backuped, which files need to be restored, which files need to be deleted. Compare & Backup can do all those operations for you.

Backup 1.80 was released on Nov 30, 2006. The current version will run on Windows 95, 98, Me, 2000, NT, XP. Additional system requirements for Backup include Typical Win95 machine.

Backup is a shareware. You will be able to use the evaluation version available for download during a limited period, after what you will have to buy the full version to continue to use Backup.

Size of Backup 1.80 download is less than 1111 Kb. DSL users will only need one minute to achieve the download, when 2 minutes may be required when using a 56k modem. (See below to download Backup 1.80).
