Home Office description:

Reports for your accountant to use for income tax returns and financial statements if you need them. And reports for you to see where your money went!

You record and reconcile cash transactions. Then you report summaries of those transactions to your accountant who prepares your annual tax returns etc. Your accountant will post the general ledger account summaries of transactions to a working trial balance if you require a balance sheet and profit loss. If you only need an income tax schedule your accountant will simply post the expense accounts directly to your tax returns. And will post your balance sheet accounts to a depreciation schedule etc. There are training movies on the web site.


Home Office 2.5 was released on Apr 17, 2003. The current version will run on Windows 95, 98, Me, 2000, XP. Additional system requirements for Home Office include any Pentium, any Celeron, many pre-Pentium computers.

Home Office is a shareware. You will be able to use the evaluation version available for download during a limited period, after what you will have to buy the full version to continue to use Home Office.

Size of Home Office 2.5 download is less than 1248 Kb. DSL users will only need one minute to achieve the download, when 2 minutes may be required when using a 56k modem. (See below to download Home Office 2.5).
