Abalone description:

This beautiful computer version of the classic strategy game Abalone will quickly become one of your favorite games. Played on a hexagonal board using colored marbles, your goal is to push your opponent's pieces off the board before he does the same to you.

Play using the original board game's rules or using variations: goals to capture and protect, and new ways to defeat your opponent's pieces. With a tutorial to help you get started and a tough computer opponent to keep you coming back for more, Abalone is a sure hit for any lover of strategy games.

Abalone 1.2 was released on Jun 28, 2002. The current version will run on Windows 95, 98, Me, 2000, NT, XP.

Abalone is a shareware. You will be able to use the evaluation version available for download during a limited period, after what you will have to buy the full version to continue to use Abalone.

Size of Abalone 1.2 download is less than 2043 Kb. DSL users will only need one minute to achieve the download, when 4 minutes may be required when using a 56k modem. (See below to download Abalone 1.2).
