Account Express tracks and reconciles transactions for credit cards, savings and checking accounts, and lines of credit. Budget preparation is made easy with the creation of user-defined income and expense categories, and the recording of details such as payees, income sources, and item descriptions.

To provide a financial overview, a versatile tree structure allows easy selection of the display format and desired level of detail for requested information. Features include presentation of a global cash flow picture, calculation of net income over any given period, transaction splitting into many categories, summary graphs, and eleven reports related to financial activities. The ability to create post-dated transactions enables the forecasting of one’s financial position into the future.

Historical transactions that are no longer of interest may be archived, so the user only browses through current records. Important account information can be centrally stored to facilitate contact with financial institutions.

Account Express will benefit anyone serious about controlling their finances and planning their budget. Intuitive to use, it provides context sensitive help throughout, and includes a tutorial to get the user off to a fast start.

Account Express 2.0d was released on May 30, 2001. The current version will run on Windows 95, 98, Me, 2000. Additional system requirements for Account Express include 12MB RAM, 3MB HD SPACE, HIGH (16 BIT) COLOR DISPLAY.

Account Express is a shareware. You will be able to use the evaluation version available for download during a limited period, after what you will have to buy the full version to continue to use Account Express.
