ActiSetup description:

ActiSetup is a rapid development environment for building setup packages. It allows developers to make installers for their applications. It utilises the Dacris Installer engine, a scripting engine that allows developers to create custom installations for their software products, and is built with pure Win32 API for maximum efficiency. One of the unique features of Dacris Installer is that it can download packages from the Internet very efficiently, using multiple threads and resume support, like a download manager.

ActiSetup 1.1 was released on May 18, 2003. The current version will run on Windows 98, Me, 2000, NT, XP. Additional system requirements for ActiSetup include Pentium CPU, 50 MB hard disk space, 32 MB RAM.

ActiSetup is a shareware. You will be able to use the evaluation version available for download during a limited period, after what you will have to buy the full version to continue to use ActiSetup.

Size of ActiSetup 1.1 download is less than 337 Kb. DSL users will only need one minute to achieve the download, when 2 minutes may be required when using a 56k modem. (See below to download ActiSetup 1.1).
