The computer opponents are adaptive to any playing style. They use a technique call genetic programming to learn. At your option you may allow them to learn during your playing session.

Adaptive Poker 2.1 was released on May 25, 2004. The current version will run on Linux. Additional system requirements for Adaptive Poker include Java Virtual Machine v1.3 or higher.

Adaptive Poker is a shareware. You will be able to use the evaluation version available for download during a limited period, after what you will have to buy the full version to continue to use Adaptive Poker.

Size of Adaptive Poker 2.1 download is less than 3449 Kb. DSL users will only need one minute to achieve the download, when 8 minutes may be required when using a 56k modem. (See below to download Adaptive Poker 2.1).
