The program is implemented as a Microsoft® DirectShow® filter and can connect to such players as: Microsoft MediaPlayer Light Alloy JetAudio Elecard MPEG Player CliprexLite RadLight and many others, using the Microsoft® DirectShow® environment.

Alparysoft Video Quality Controller beta was released on May 1, 2003. The current version will run on Windows 98, Me, 2000, XP. Additional system requirements for Alparysoft Video Quality Controller include RAM: 128 Mb or more, OS MS Win98/Me/2000.
