Battle of the Youstrass is a Strategy/RPG hybrid (aka Tactical RPG) in the tradition of Ogre Battle and Fire Emblem for the Windows platform. Strategy/RPG incorporates RPG elements to the strategic game. So it puts strong emphasis on characters and their developments. But unlike traditional computer RPGs, SRPG is closer to the drama in which a player decides characters' action while minor decisions are made by the characters themselves. As a strategic game, SRPG presents many challenges in a strategic form even though it's simpler than the traditional strategic games. As it is, it's easier to play while still maintaining an element of surprise from it's strong story aspect.

Battle of the Youstrass 1.0 was released on Feb 1, 2001. The current version will run on Windows 95, 98, Me, 2000, NT. Additional system requirements for Battle of the Youstrass include Direct X 3.0 or higher.

Battle of the Youstrass is a commercial software. You will be able to use the evaluation version available for download during a limited period, after what you will have to buy the full version to continue to use Battle of the Youstrass.
