Bed description:

Menu driven binary editor. Dataformats are ascii, unsigned (base 2-36: bin,oct,dec,hex,etc) and signed integers, float, bitflags, bitfields, labels, ebcdic and time_t. Different sizes and byte ordenings are possible. Datatypes can be used in structures. Contains copy, past, undo, redo, search, replace, marks, record/play and context sensitive help. Edit rawdisk devices (probably doesn't work with winNT/2000/XP).

Bed 0.2.23 was released on Mar 6, 2004. The current version will run on Windows 95, 98, Me, 2000, NT, XP. Additional system requirements for Bed include cygwin1.dll (download free from http://bedlinux.tripod.com/download.html, goto http://sources.redhat.com/cygwin for full cygwin.

Bed is a freeware. That means that you will not have to pay to be able to use it.

Size of Bed 0.2.23 download is less than 380 Kb. DSL users will only need one minute to achieve the download, when 2 minutes may be required when using a 56k modem. (See below to download Bed 0.2.23).
