Benign description: Benign provides e-mail users with a pro-active solution that eliminates all e-mail borne threats, both known and unknown. Protecting users from real-world attacks by removing any potentially harmful code that an e-mail may contain, Benign recognises harmful attachments, e-mail worms, non-standard HTML, scripts, web bugs and other e-mail borne threats, rewriting the message to produce an entirely safe e-mail. Benign 1.36 was released on Apr 22, 2003. The current version will run on Windows 95, 98, Me, 2000, NT, XP. Additional system requirements for Benign include 32MB RAM, 10MB Disk SPace, 75MHz, POP3 e-mail account. Benign is a shareware. You will be able to use the evaluation version available for download during a limited period, after what you will have to buy the full version to continue to use Benign.
