Dexterpen description:

Dexterpen is a stand-alone Windows graphics utility for those small repetetive 2D drawing tasks which take away valuable time from your working day. Use Dexterpen to create collections of drawings of slightly different components to import into your favorite CAD program or into Word. You can also use Dexterpen to dynamically experiment with components without having to learn AutoLISP or VBA or buy an expensive 3D parametric design program.

The screen is divided into the parameter area, simply a column of sliders with edit boxes, and the graphics area where you add graphics objects like lines, arcs, circles etc. As you add parameters you can then add lines, rectangles, circles and arcs whose dimensions depend on the parameters.

Dexterpen can also do those repetitive (and sometimes error prone) CAD and CAM calculations which you do every day. Get immediate visual and numeric feedback as you move the sliders. Dexterpen is a great way to do "what if" experiments without having to know how to program. Length and area calculating functions are included.

Dexterpen 1 was released on Mar 29, 2002. The current version will run on Windows 95, 98, 2000, NT. Additional system requirements for Dexterpen include All Windows 32 systems.

Dexterpen is a shareware. You will be able to use the evaluation version available for download during a limited period, after what you will have to buy the full version to continue to use Dexterpen.

Size of Dexterpen 1 download is less than 1120 Kb. DSL users will only need one minute to achieve the download, when 2 minutes may be required when using a 56k modem. (See below to download Dexterpen 1).
