Galactic Battle description:

Galactic Battle is an easy to learn yet hard to master turn based space strategy game. Your are fighting for survival against a number of AIs that control rival star empires. To win the game you need to cleverly develop your planets, colonize (read: conquer) new ones, and keep the computer from grabbing too much of what is meant to be YOUR galaxy. Mass fleets, divide and conquer, protect your well populated worlds from marauding armies, make tactical advances, and develop new technologies to boost your armies' strength and fleets' range.

Galactic Battle 1.0 was released on Feb 20, 2003. The current version will run on Windows 95, 98, Me, 2000, NT, XP. Additional system requirements for Galactic Battle include DirectX 8.

Galactic Battle is a shareware. You will be able to use the evaluation version available for download during a limited period, after what you will have to buy the full version to continue to use Galactic Battle.

Size of Galactic Battle 1.0 download is less than 2530 Kb. DSL users will only need one minute to achieve the download, when 6 minutes may be required when using a 56k modem. (See below to download Galactic Battle 1.0).
