The aim of the game is to create the given word before the guesses runs out, or else the Man becomes hanged. The software has been designed for fast setup and interactivity with excellent graphics and sounds. Full Audio-Visual and Multimedia features have been built into the program.

Hang Word 2.0 was released on Feb 25, 2003. The current version will run on Windows 95, 98, Me, 2000, NT, XP. Additional system requirements for Hang Word include Win 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP.
