Homeboy description: HomeBoy is a program that allows children to write short stories in order to have them read back, and play games. It uses Microsoft's "Text-To-Speech" engine and with the help of 4 animated characters, the stories are brought to life with speech and over 120 actions and over 200 animations on your PC, all with an intuitive and easy-to-use interface. The game include Tic-Tac-Toe (5 levels of AI) and Riddles (over 150 riddles to solve on 5 levels). Reads text from clipboard, and with the registered version, you can save and load your stories anytime you wish. Homeboy 1.3 was released on Oct 3, 2002. The current version will run on Windows 98, Me, 2000, XP. Additional system requirements for Homeboy include Pentium 200, 32 MB RAM. Homeboy is a shareware. You will be able to use the evaluation version available for download during a limited period, after what you will have to buy the full version to continue to use Homeboy. Size of Homeboy 1.3 download is less than 1452 Kb. DSL users will only need one minute to achieve the download, when 3 minutes may be required when using a 56k modem.
