Image is a DOS based drive image backup and restore utility that creates a snapshot of an entire partition or volume to a set of files or directly to USB2, IEEE1394, ATAPI CD and DVD drives. If something should ever happen to that partition or volume, you'll be able to simply restore the snapshot image.

Image for DOS 1.99 was released on Feb 12, 2007. The current version will run on Window. Additional system requirements for Image for DOS include Pentium/AMD, Real Mode DOS (MSDOS/PCDOS/WinDOS), 16MB RAM.

Image for DOS is a shareware. You will be able to use the evaluation version available for download during a limited period, after what you will have to buy the full version to continue to use Image for DOS.
