It has been released into the public domain for free to help stem the growing tide of IRC-propagating worms.

IRClean 2.0 was released on May 16, 2001. The current version will run on Windows 95, 98, Me, 2000, NT, XP.

IRClean is a freeware. That means that you will not have to pay to be able to use it.

Size of IRClean 2.0 download is less than 36 Kb. DSL users will only need one minute to achieve the download, when 2 minutes may be required when using a 56k modem. (See below to download IRClean 2.0).
