OptName description:

optName e-Directory will enable you to take a new look at the meanings behind the names of your friends and relatives, as well as your own. The program will help you to make a conscious and well thought-out choice of a name for the baby you are expecting. With this program you will be able to find out what language (or language stock) a name originates from and what its original meaning and translation are. You will also have the ability to compute and interpret the "number of the name", which provides you with a personality-based profile. Version 2.0 contains as many as 3,002 names! The program is intended for average users. It has clear interface and does not require installation.

OptName 2.0.1 was released on Jan 5, 2003. The current version will run on Windows 95, 98, Me, 2000, NT, XP. Additional system requirements for OptName include Win95 or higher.

OptName is a shareware. You will be able to use the evaluation version available for download during a limited period, after what you will have to buy the full version to continue to use OptName.
