Picture of the Day description:

Do you have a favorite "Pic of the Day" site, such as the many sites that display a "Pet of the Day", "Cartoon of the Day", "Babe of the Day" or a high-res digital photo of the day? With POTD you can bring those images to your own desktop automatically. At the schedule you set and from the sites that you specify, POTD will collect the images and display them as your desktop wallpaper. A long list of default sites are provided and you can easily add your favorites. There are also many options to control how the images are displayed and how frequently they are changed, as well as the ability to display them as a screen saver.

Picture of the Day 1.3 was released on Jun 25, 2006. The current version will run on Windows 95, 98, Me, 2000, NT, XP. Additional system requirements for Picture of the Day include 486/100 Mhz, 8MB RAM, 4 MB HDD.

Picture of the Day is a freeware. That means that you will not have to pay to be able to use it.

Size of Picture of the Day 1.3 download is less than 918 Kb. DSL users will only need one minute to achieve the download, when 2 minutes may be required when using a 56k modem. (See below to download Picture of the Day 1.3).
