PlexIrc 2.1 was released on Nov 22, 2001. The current version will run on Linux. Additional system requirements for PlexIrc include Java 1.4.

PlexIrc is a shareware. You will be able to use the evaluation version available for download during a limited period, after what you will have to buy the full version to continue to use PlexIrc.

Size of PlexIrc 2.1 download is less than 6000 Kb. DSL users will only need 3 minutes to achieve the download, when 14 minutes may be required when using a 56k modem. (See below to download PlexIrc 2.1).
