The main Read Assistant's features are: smooth text scrolling with convenient control; archives unpacking on the fly (ZIP, RAR, ARJ, LZH, HA); treelike catalogue; viewing of TXT, HTM, DOC, RTF file-types; saving a history of the last files opened and position in them; search capabilities; remove HTML tags; setting bookmarks; adjustable font and background color; multi-lingual interface; individual settings for each user.

Read Assitant 2.0 was released on Mar 27, 2002. The current version will run on Windows 95, 98, Me, 2000, NT. Additional system requirements for Read Assitant include Win 95/98/NT.
