Synopsis is a rapid application prototyping tool for designing and developing Windows applications. Software components are represented by graphical icons that can be quickly connected to build even complex programs. Base components cover various application areas including user interface, multimedia, file I/O, etc. You can connect to your own DLLs and SQL databases to reuse existing software tools. Synopsis allows for real-time programming where changes can be made while a program is running. This allows for instantaneous feedback without the need to leave the development environment. Synopsis can even build final executables (.EXEs).

Synopsis 1.1 was released on Jul 26, 2004. The current version will run on Windows 98, 2000, XP. Additional system requirements for Synopsis include Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1, 800+ MHz, 128+ MB RAM.

Synopsis is a commercial software. You will be able to use the evaluation version available for download during a limited period, after what you will have to buy the full version to continue to use Synopsis.

Size of Synopsis 1.1 download is less than 27050 Kb. DSL users will only need 14 minutes to achieve the download, when 64 minutes may be required when using a 56k modem. (See below to download Synopsis 1.1).
