TChat 3.0.1 was released on Feb 1, 2005. The current version will run on Linux. Additional system requirements for TChat include Java Runtime Environment 1.4 or later.

TChat is a shareware. You will be able to use the evaluation version available for download during a limited period, after what you will have to buy the full version to continue to use TChat.

Size of TChat 3.0.1 download is less than 641 Kb. DSL users will only need one minute to achieve the download, when 2 minutes may be required when using a 56k modem. (See below to download TChat 3.0.1).
