Text to HTML description:

This program will convert a book in text format into HTML files containing a separate file for the Table of Contents, and each chapter, links from the TOC to each chapter, and links at the end of each chapter to the next chapter.
Custom Body properties may be set for all the files created, a tables may be added as a container for the body of the book, user-defined table properties and font properties may be set as required.
The output files of this program are as close as possible to the format of the text file they are created from, Text is indented where required, line breaks and paragraph breaks are inserted as per the text file.
The conversion process, once the body, table and font properties are set, can take as little as 2.2 seconds on a 300kB file, but can take considerable longer on files with roman numerals as chapter numbers, an 800kB file with roman numerals took 86 seconds on my machine.
The demonstration version works exactly the same as the full version but will only convert the first 5000 lines and will add a comment to the end of each file asking you to register.

Text to HTML 1 was released on Nov 11, 2001. The current version will run on Windows 95, 98, 2000.

Text to HTML is a commercial software. You will be able to use the evaluation version available for download during a limited period, after what you will have to buy the full version to continue to use Text to HTML.
