TOAD for SQL Server is a simple and powerful yet low-overhead Windows client tool that makes SQL development much easier and greatly simplifies database administration tasks. It provides an advanced browser interface with visual object editotors for creates and alters, plus a rich SQL editor with SQL syntax highlighting and robust data grid options. Plus the SQL editor will actually function with any ODBC database connection, thus it supports many other popular databases like Oracle, DB2, Informix, Ingres, Access, MySQL, Sybase, PostgreSQL, etc.

TOAD for SQL Server 1.0 was released on Jan 1, 2004. The current version will run on Windows 95, 98, Me, 2000, NT, XP. Additional system requirements for TOAD for SQL Server include SQL Server Client.
