UnHackMe description:

The intruder installs a rootkit on a computer using a user action or by exploiting a known vulnerability or cracking a password. The rootkit installs a backdoor giving the hacker a full control of the computer. It hides their files, registry keys, and process names, and network connections from your eyes.
Your antivirus could not detect such programs because they use compression and encryption of its files.
UnHackMe allows you to detect and remove Rootkits.

UnHackMe 3.1 was released on May 11, 2006. The current version will run on Windows 2000, NT, XP. Additional system requirements for UnHackMe include 16 Mb RAM, 3 MB on hard drive.

UnHackMe is a shareware. You will be able to use the evaluation version available for download during a limited period, after what you will have to buy the full version to continue to use UnHackMe.

Size of UnHackMe 3.1 download is less than 1040 Kb. DSL users will only need one minute to achieve the download, when 2 minutes may be required when using a 56k modem. (See below to download UnHackMe 3.1).
