Executes benchmarks based on both Time and Request.

Allows simulation of 1000+ clients per machine.

Supports HTTP 1.1 Keep-Alive connections, sends HTTP GET and POST requests.

Web Essence 2.3 was released on Nov 24, 2001. The current version will run on Windows 98, Me, 2000, NT, XP. Additional system requirements for Web Essence include IBM PC.

Web Essence is a commercial software. You will be able to use the evaluation version available for download during a limited period, after what you will have to buy the full version to continue to use Web Essence.

Size of Web Essence 2.3 download is less than 1300 Kb. DSL users will only need one minute to achieve the download, when 3 minutes may be required when using a 56k modem. (See below to download Web Essence 2.3).
