WindowFX description:

WindowFX allows Win2K/XP users to add a host of special effects and enhancements to their windows. WindowFX features include: true shadows under windows, transition effects for minimizing, maximizing, closing, and opening windows. Transparency effects, the ability to have large icons on the desktop while having normal sized icons elsewhere, desktop icon special effects and label effects, maximize to a set resolution, and much more. Version 2.12 adds effects to window moving, greater performance, and a ton of added goodies in the free version.

WindowFX 2.12 was released on Sep 30, 2002. The current version will run on Windows 2000, XP. Additional system requirements for WindowFX include Win 2000/XP.

WindowFX is a shareware. You will be able to use the evaluation version available for download during a limited period, after what you will have to buy the full version to continue to use WindowFX.

Size of WindowFX 2.12 download is less than 1048 Kb. DSL users will only need one minute to achieve the download, when 2 minutes may be required when using a 56k modem. (See below to download WindowFX 2.12).
